Santa Elena is a peaceful, small municipality located in the Puuc region of Yucatán, Mexico, about 95 kilometers (59 miles) south of Mérida.
Originally a Maya village known as Nohcacab ("the great place of good land"), it stands out today for deeply preserving Maya heritage, traditions, and the Yucatec Maya language in the daily lives of its residents.
Nueva Altia- Eco-Hotel & Holistic Center
Nueva Altia Eco-Hotel & Holistic Center is a private, nature-focused retreat space nestled in the heart of the Puuc Jungle region near Santa Elena, Yucatán.
Serving as a secluded sanctuary, it provides an intimate environment intentionally designed to eliminate the friction of modern tourism.

Daily Itinerary
Days 1: Arrival & Gathering
Step off the plane in Mérida for a private villa transfer to our tranquil jungle homebase.
Gather under the evening sky to set intentions and connection, and open the sacred space for your restoration.
Day 2: Jungle Connection & Healing
Our day begins with a fresh, locally sourced breakfast and yoga practice in the jungle.
Melt away physical tension with a professional massage under the jungle canopy.
DAY 3: Introspection & Heart Opening
Gentle, sunrise yoga.
Embark on a mindful jungle tour leading to a profound, silent meditation inside a sacred cave
Open your heart with ceremonial cacao ritual— used to unlock emotions, spark joy, & celebrate life.
DAY 4: Rebirth & Giving Back
Fluid morning yoga followed by a clean breakfast to prepare your body & mind for a day of deep transformation.
A Temazcal Ritual— an indigenous sweat lodge— a powerful ceremony of purfication and symbolic rebirth.
Ayni— Sacred reciprocity— Give back to Pachamama and the land that held you through a meaningful community eco-contribution.
DAY 5: Sacred Caves & Sound Healing
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast and gentle yoga practice to begin our journey to the underworld.
Connect to the vibrational sounds of the universe in a sound bath in the depths of cenote waters.
Inside the cavern, the ancient stone walls uniquely amplify the therapeutic echoes of crystal bowls and gongs.
DAY 6: Ancient Wonders
Greet the sunrise with poolside yoga and a hearty breakfast before we head toward ancient Mayan territory.
Dive into the breathtaking, vine-draped waters of Cenote Ik Kil followed by a traditional Yucatecan lunch.
Witness the sun kiss the world-famous KuKulKán Temple at Chichen Itza— a magical display of history & mysticism.
DAY 7: Integration & Farewell
Leave with a full heart, a clear mind, and your inner balance fully restored as you make the smooth transfer to the Mérida airport and back home.

Booking, Cancellation, & Insurance
Payment & Reservation
Deposit: A $500 USD non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot
Application: Your deposit is applied directly toward your total trip cost.
Cancellation Timeline
Before January 30, 2027: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. You will forfeit 75% of the total trip price, less the $500 deposit.
On or after January 31, 2027: No refunds will be issued. Cancellations result in total loss of funds.
Travel Protection
Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing Trip Cancellation For Any Reason (CFAR) insurance.
Timeline: Most CFAR policies must be purchased within 14 days of your initial booking to be valid.
